Peter and Paul’s Place is sponsoring a dance party at the Tucker on June 4th, 6-9 pm at the Tucker Recreation Center. There will be food, drinks, music and fun.

We are getting some questions about Covid precautions and will decide if masks are required closer to the event and depending on the infection rate. It is always a good idea to have an extra mask handy. We will also have some extra masks available at the event.

Rights & Responsibilities

Each individual has certain rights, but for each of those rights, there are also responsibilities that are part of being an adult, along with making sure that we honor the rights of others.

The Gwinnett County Public Library (www.gwinnettpl.org) and Pat Satterfield of the Dunamis Educational Foundation (www.dunamised.org) present online life skills topics for adults and teens with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. The classes are offered virtually on select Thursdays. The link to the Zoom video meetings is listed below and is also available through the GCPL Online Events Calendar by clicking on the date of the event. No registration is required. Parents and caregivers are welcome.

Water Safety

Summer brings lots of time in a pool, lake, or at the beach.  Water fun begins with feeling comfortable in the water and staying safe. We’ll talk about your personal safety in these different settings as well as being aware of the safety of others.
